Dear Ijeawele, or a Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

The book explains in simple terms how misogyny is so deep-rooted in society that we often don't realize that there is misogyny. Chimamanda gives invaluable advice on how to bring up daughters and that teaches indirectly how not to bring up our sons.

This book was a letter from the author, to her friend who had asked her advice on raising her kid with feminist values and the writer delivers, in a fashion that is simple but hard-hitting.

How important it is to be a feminist?

This is gold for anyone who wants to leave patriarchy behind and raise their children - boys or girls - in a healthy environment that allows all people of all genders and gender identities to grow and evolve to be accommodating and empathetic humans.

Thanks, my Love, Rakhi for suggesting this book

Digital Album- Fictional Places

Places play an important role as anchoring fictional (books, movies, songs, video games) as well as artistic universes to reality. Here's a list of some such places which we may all have travelled or visited.  Click here
