SCHOOL INTERNSHIP- WEEK 1&2 (15/12/2020 - 23/12/2021)

WEEKLY REPORT- 1 Our first phase of teaching practice started on 15th December 2021, Wednesday.  We, a team of seventeen members, got  N.S.S. Boys Higher Secondary School, Pandalam for teaching practice.  We reached the school at 9.30 a.m. We were told that we must reach the school by 9.45am. On 9th December, we went to the school for collecting our portions, timetable and for meeting our respective teachers. Therefore, we were fully aware of what to teach and when to go to the class and to which class. On the first day, we met the Headmistress of the school and signed our attendance register. The school is strictly following the COVID protocol, SMS is maintained throughout the working hours. The headmistress gave us certain instructions and arranged a room with enough seating arrangements for us.  We were provided a small room adjacent staffroom. Most of the days I had exam duties. Students were excited to see the new teachers. The total strength of 8th standard is ...

Borderline..

I'm quirky, blunt and broken My days are sometimes dark My nights are sometimes long I often trip over my own wrong.  I require attention Longs for possession And when words fail, I use music to speak Even though this singer is too weak.  Everyday is a battle Fighting my emotions, reminding myself That I am good enough and worth loving.   One wrong word, one look Everything is a rejection.  Obsession; picking things apart,  It is a war zone inside.  Trying to control everything  But fails at last; Exhausting. Wanting to be alone  But not satisfied just with mine own. When I make a connection, I attach myself. Obsessed. Because that is what I do.  No calls, no messages, no company = rejection.  It doesn't matter the reason;  but overbearing & annoying is my season.

Semester III School Internship- Day 1

15/12/2021 Wednesday As a part of the School internship program we the 17 students of N.S.S Training College Pandalam went to N.S.S Boys Higher Secondary School, Pandalam. We reached the school by 9.45 am., saw the Principal, and handed over the attendance sheet to her.  I took the 8th standard English class during the 2nd hour. There were only 18 students. It was an amazing experience, as a school teacher, the first step to my teaching career. The students were so attentive, active, and talkative. but I easily handled the class. I couldn't complete the portion as per my lesson plan, since they had an exam that started in between my class hour, which was already scheduled.  Then I stayed in the same class, for exam invigilation duty. The pupils wrote the exam for 1 hour. there were 8th and 10th standard students in my class.  After lunch also, some of us had exam duty.  We left the school at 3.30 pm after signing the attendance sheet.
