Doodle in English

 Week 4 (25/07/2022- 29/07/2022) In this week, students were having mid term exam, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, for which we prepared the question paper, and conducted the exam. During the lunch break we participated in serving the mid day meal.  28/07/2022, Thursday, was a holiday for karkkidakavaavu. 

 The third week was a busy one for me. In this week, the school conducted a Poster making competition and a quiz competition in connection with the National Moon day. Prizes for the winners were given in the school assembly.  The Mathematics optional trainees conducted a quiz competition in connection with π day, and many students participated in it.  I conducted class test for 9B and 9C on chapters The Race and Maternity respectively. I participated in the mid-ay meal programme on Friday as we got extra time during lunch break. There was school assembly on Thursday, and everyone participated in it very actively.  As a part of National Moon day, the students of 9C created a poster.  I was having discipline duty as well as duty for serving mid day meals.

Our second phase of school internship started on July 6th 2022. I got 7 hours in this week to teach English for classes 9B and 9C.  Week 1 06/07/2022- 08/07/2022 Since there's a shortage of teachers in the high school we were asked to engage the students in the free hours and we were also told to take classes for 5th, 6th and 7th classes till their new English teacher would come. So we had a fully packed week with very less free hours. Thus our record works and reflective journal writing didn't happen. I wrote it only after the school hours at home.  We served the mid day meals, we also help teachers with discipline duties.  Week 2: 11/07/2022 - 15/07/2022 In this week, I got total 18 hours classes for 9B, 9C, 7th, and 5th standard (including substation hours). I got enough hours to complete 2 lessons, in class 9, The Race and Learning the Game. I completed the lessons and learning activities.  Second Phase of school internship started on 06/07/2022.  Today was the first day of our school internship phase II at NSS Boys Higher secondary school, Pandalam. We were 13 teacher trainees from English Malayalam natural science physical science and mathematics optional. All of us reached the school at 9:30 a.m. sharp, met the headmaster of the school and marked or attendance in the attendance sheet provided from college. On the previous day we came to the school and met the subject teacher concerned and collected our portions. The teacher also allotted classes to each of us. The normal working hours of the school is from 10:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. after the pandemic has reduced the school started to function normally and we could see a fully fledged school which will surely provide us with better teaching experience.  In the school library the staffs arranged some desk chairs and benches for us.
